Your session

Rest your fingers on the home row, press any key, and follow the key that lights up. There is no timer until the short check at the end.

About today

Today is about where your hands live. Every key you will ever type starts from the home row, and the two small bumps on F and J let you find it without looking. You will meet Dash (left index, on F) and Jojo (right index, on J), then Mika and Kit next door on D and K. Speed does not matter at all today. Slow, correct presses build the memory that makes you fast later.

Tips for today

  • Sit up, feet flat, screen at eye level. Let your elbows hang loosely by your sides.
  • Rest your fingertips lightly on A S D F and J K L ; — curved, like holding a small ball.
  • Keep your eyes on the screen. If you lose your place, feel for the bumps instead of looking down.

Common mistake

Pressing hard. A light tap is enough, and it keeps your hands relaxed for the whole session.
