Your session

Rest your fingers on the home row, press any key, and follow the key that lights up. There is no timer until the short check at the end.

About today

Pip reaches up to Q and Pax reaches up to P. Q is rare but P is common, so most of today's practice leans on P. These are the hardest reaches for most beginners, because the little fingers are short and weak. Keep your hand still and let the little finger do the stretch.

Tips for today

  • Tilt the hand very slightly outward if you need to. Return to home immediately after.
  • Q is almost always followed by U. Practise "qu" as one movement.

Common mistake

Lifting the whole hand to reach P. Only Pax moves.
