Respecting copyright

Pinch of Decoration respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This tool does not host, store, index, or archive any media. It simply retrieves a publicly accessible file from a link that a user provides and streams it to that user. We do not maintain a library of content.

Where to direct most concerns

Because we do not host content, most copyright concerns should be directed to the website that actually hosts the file. Removing the file at its source is the most effective remedy.

Filing a notice of alleged infringement

If you believe that this website itself is facilitating infringement of a work you own, you may send us a written notice that includes the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The specific link or a clear description that allows us to locate the material in question.
  • Your contact information, including your name, address, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notification

If you believe that material was removed or restricted in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing equivalent detail, including your contact information, identification of the material, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.

Repeat infringers

We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, limit access for users who are the subject of repeated valid notices.
