About Pinch of Decoration

Pinch of Decoration is a free online tool that helps people save animated GIFs from public links on the web. Our goal is simple: make downloading a GIF quick, honest, and safe, without asking you to sign up, install anything, or hand over personal information.

What we do

You paste a link and we do the rest. If you give us a direct GIF address, we verify that it is a genuine GIF and prepare a clean download. If you give us the address of a public webpage, our server reads the page, gathers the images and media it can find, checks each one, and shows you the valid GIFs so you can choose which to save. Every file is delivered in its original quality, with no re-encoding and no watermark added.

What makes us different

• Honest about formats. Many animations that look like GIFs are really short MP4, WebM, or WebP files. Instead of quietly renaming them, we tell you the true format and let you download the real file.
• Built for privacy. We store as little as possible, keep no permanent copies of the files you download, and use a privacy-conscious method to prevent abuse rather than logging raw IP addresses.
• Security first. All processing happens on our server with safeguards that stop the tool from reaching private or internal networks.
• Free and open to everyone. There is no paywall, no account, and no limit designed to push you toward a paid plan.

What we will not do

We built this tool to be useful within honest limits. It only accesses files that are already public. It does not and cannot bypass logins, paywalls, CAPTCHA, anti-bot systems, or any other website security control. We believe a tool can be genuinely helpful without crossing those lines.
