How many words do I need?
A 3×3 card needs at least nine entries, 4×4 needs sixteen, and 5×5 needs twenty-five, or twenty-four with a free centre square. More words than that is better: the extra entries are what make each card genuinely different from the next.
The call list
A call sheet prints after the cards with every entry listed once, in a shuffled order, with a box to tick as you read each one out.

Questions people ask
How many cards can I make at once?
Enough for a class or a party - the limit is set by the site administrator and defaults to thirty. Cards are generated in small batches with a progress indicator so the page never locks up.
Can I put my own text in the free square?
Yes. Turn the free space on and type whatever you like in it, or leave it reading "Free".
Will two cards ever be identical?
With a decent surplus of words that is vanishingly unlikely. If you supply exactly enough words to fill the grid, cards can only differ by arrangement, and the generator warns you.
