We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across this site.
The typing tool can be operated entirely from the keyboard, which is the point of it. Focus states are visible, form fields have labels, and headings follow a logical order. Correct and incorrect characters are never distinguished by colour alone: incorrect characters also carry a wavy underline and a background tint, missed characters are struck through, and corrected characters carry a dotted underline. A legend under the typing area explains this in words.
Live statistics are announced politely to screen readers rather than interrupting, and the finger guidance is available as text as well as a visual keyboard highlight. Text size, line height, text width, contrast and motion can all be adjusted from the settings drawer, and the site respects your operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
If you find something that does not work for you, please get in touch and tell us what happened and what you were using.
