Flashcard Maker

Print flashcards that line up front to back for double-sided printing, or flip through them on screen.

Turn this into another activity

Your words come with you - there is nothing to type again.

Printing double-sided

The back page is mirrored left to right so that when you print on both sides using the long-edge setting, each back lands behind its own front. If your printer flips on the short edge, switch the alignment option and print a test page of two cards before committing a whole set.

Cut guides print as light corner marks rather than heavy lines, so the cards look clean once trimmed.

On-screen practice

The digital mode shows one card at a time, flips on click, tap, Space or Enter, and can shuffle the deck. It works on a phone, so a student can revise on the way to school.

Questions people ask

How many cards per page?

Four, six or eight. Four gives large text suitable for a whole class to read from the front of the room; eight is the usual size for a personal revision deck.

Can the back be a picture?

Not in this version. Backs are text, which keeps the PDF small and the print crisp.
