Settings that moved or disappeared
Most people call this why a menu is not where an old guide says it is.
Apple reorganises Settings regularly, so an instruction written for an older release can point at a menu that no longer exists.

Pull down on the Settings screen to reveal the search field, which finds any setting by name.
What it does
Three reorganisations catch people out most often. Accessibility moved out of General in iOS 13. Reset options moved under Transfer or Reset iPhone in iOS 15. Per app settings moved into an Apps section in iOS 18.
Every setting page here carries a path history showing where it used to live.
