MagSafe charging
Most people call this the magnetic charger that snaps to the back.
MagSafe uses magnets to align a wireless charger with the coil in your iPhone, which charges faster and more reliably than dropping it on a flat pad.
This setting is present on your iPhone.

There is no MagSafe switch. Charging behaviour is reported on the Battery screen.
What it does
The magnets hold the charger in the one position where the coils line up. Misalignment is the main reason ordinary wireless charging is slow, so removing it raises the achievable rate and reduces wasted heat.
The same magnet ring also holds wallets, stands and car mounts.

There is no switch. Either your iPhone has the magnet array or it does not.

If it is not working
- A thick or metal case can stop the magnets aligning. Use a case made for MagSafe.
- Charging slows deliberately when the phone gets warm. Take it out of direct sun and off soft surfaces.
- A credit card or hotel key left between the phone and the charger can be damaged by the magnets.
